Sick notes: Are they transferred automatically?
Yes, sick notes are transferred directly from the shift schedule to absence management and time recording. This saves time and prevents errors.
Conversely, entries in the absence plan are also synchronized with the duty roster and also with the time recording
Peak Hours: How do I optimally plan rush hours?
Sanoplan analyzes your data and predicts staffing needs during peak times. This ensures that you always have enough staff available. You define the shifts, and the AI fills them.
Do I have to use AI?
Of course, you don’t have to use AI; there are always situations where you want to intervene manually. There are four planning options:
- You can completely bypass AI by permanently staffing certain shifts with specific people in the base plan. The base plan is also useful for marking when you don’t want to staff certain shifts on certain days, for example, if you never want to work on Friday afternoons.
- You can manually assign people to a shift—all via drag and drop—without typing. This method is also a particularly easy way to approve requested appointments.
- You can schedule semi-automatically by using AI to show you who is available and competent for the corresponding shift. If you hover your mouse over the corresponding shift, you’ll see in green who is competent and available for that shift. Clicking on the name will then enter the name. It will also show you who has the relevant knowledge for that shift and is present but is otherwise scheduled. This allows you to force a shift swap, for example.
- And then, of course, there’s the AI, which plans your day fully automatically. All you have to do is click on the head icon in the daily display.
Even more features that will delight you:
- Flexible shift models
- Automated approval processes
- Integration with time recording systems
